How to get there?

Note that all the paths to get to Kanawata are gravel

ZEC du gros brochet
Arrive at St-Michel-des-Saints, go to rue des Aulnaies and drive 1.3KM
Turn right on the forest road and go up the KM to 16. Keep right

Turn left at KM 31 and continue to climb the KM

At KM 66 you arrive at the ZEC du gros brochet registration (pay the passage) Continue to climb the KM, at 77 keep right.

Go 6KM on Chemin Giraldo and then left on Chemin Ottawa for approximately 6KM

You arrive at KM 89 from Rivières-aux-rats Turn left and go up the KM to 139

Turn right and continue 7.5KM you will arrive at Kanawata

Chemin de Casey

Arrive at St-Michel-des-Saints, go to rue des Aulnaies and drive 1.3KM Turn right on the forest road and go up the KM to 16.

Keep left Go up the KM to 60, turn right towards Casey

Go up the KM to the Rivières-aux-rats junction (KM 106)

Turn left and go up the KM to KM 139 Turn right and continue 7.5KM, you will arrive at Kanawata

By La Tuque

Go to the Gaston-Fortin bridge on the 155 South You arrive at the Zec Wessonneau barrier where you must go and register

You then embark on the gravel forest road of Rivières-aux-rats Climb the KMs up to KM 139

At KM 139, turn right, go 7.5KM on this path and you will arrive at Kanawata!
